Installation

Note

Liquit has its own built-in web server, any existing services running on port 80 or 443 will cause conflicts.

Liquit is distributed as a Microsoft Installer (MSI), few steps are required to install a Liquit Server as described in this section.

Server Setup Welcome
Click on next to start the setup.

Tick the box and click on Next to accept the EULA and continue with the setup

Provide the logon account for the Liquit Workspace Server Service.
Provide the logon account for the Liquit Workspace Server Service, this can be used for database connectivity and/or for securing access to the Content Store

Note

When a custom logon account has been provided, please ensure this account has the “Log on as a service” rights.

Enter your database information and click Next to start the installation
Enter the database connectivity information which will be used by the Liquit Workspace Server service and click Next to start the installation

Note

Make sure that you have created database setup and ready to be initialized by the Liquit installer.
The installation will NOT create the database for you!

Specify the FQDN on which Liquit will be made available
Specify the FQDN on which Liquit will be made available.

Once the installation process has completed, you'll be shown the summary screen.

Server Setup Finished
Click Finish to exit the installer

Now that the Liquit Workspace server is installed, you can access it using a web browser on the FQDN you provided.
