Defaults

Here you can set default values for the workspace look and feel.

Language

  • Language
    Set the default language of the workspace. The default value is 'Auto detect' which uses the browser language setting to determine the language. Supported languages are English, German and Dutch. You can lock this setting using the padlock icon on the right, making sure the users can't change this setting.

Note

When an unsupported language is detected using the 'Auto detect' feature, the system falls back to English

Background

Property Description
Color Set the background color of the workspace.
Image Set an image to be used as a background.
Image position Set image positions.
Transparency Set transparency level for the background image.
Image position Description
Fill Make the image fill the entire background by resizing it.
Tile Repeat the image in tiles to fill the entire background.
Centered Center the image on the background using it's original size.

All of these settings can also be locked by using the padlock icon to prevent modification by the user.

Additional Settings

  • Text color
    Set the color of all text within the workspace content view.
  • Animations
    Tick this box to enable animations within the workspace.
  • Limit icon space
    Tick this box to make the workspace not consume all available space in the content view.
  • Theme
    Select a theme to use. Click here to read how to install a new theme.

All of these settings can also be locked by using the padlock icon to prevent modification by the user.

Apps

  • Double click to launch apps
    Tick this box to make launching an app require a double click instead of a single click.
  • Show team apps
    Tick this box to enable 'Team Apps' to be visible.
  • Show disabled apps
    Tick this box to enable showing disabled apps. They will be shown greyed out on the workspace.
  • App info icons
    Tick this box to enable showing application info icons on a zommed out workspace.
  • App sorting
    Configure the sorting behaviour of the workspace. By default sorting is disabled, the user is allowed to change the order of the apps.

All of these settings can also be locked by using the padlock icon to prevent modification by the user

Catalog

  • Show active apps
    Tick this box to enable showing all apps in the catalog, even the ones you've already added to your workspace.

Note

Enabling this option works on the main 'Catalog' accessible from the top menu bar. It will NOT work for the catalog in the side menu

Side menu

  • Standard tab
    Defines the standard tab for the side menu. Default it's set to 'Catalog' but can also be set to Teams, Categories or Launcher.
