Credentials

The Credential Manager allows you to add and configure credentials within the Liquit system. The credentials can be used within packages. To perform network actions under the 'Device' context using the specified network credentials. Or for enabling SSO for specific actions.

Add new Credential


You can create a new Credential by clicking the 'Add' button

The details windows has a few options:

Static

With static credentials you specify a username and password to authenticate against your network. These credentials can be used to perform network operations.

  • Name The name of the credentials object.

  • Username The account name used to connect to the network.

  • Password The password for the specified account.

Clicking 'Next' will present you with the summary screen.

Template

Template credentials allows you to create a credential object which can be used for SSO purposes. When using the template the user has to specify their credential only once during first usage of this template.

  • Username Specify the default syntax for constructing the username. The following variables are available:

Variable Output
${Identity.UserName} Username of currently logged in account
${Identity.Source} Identity Source name of the logged on account
${Identity.ID} Liquit unique user ID
  • Verify Password When Verify passwords is enabled, the password will be validated with the Identity Source before being acceptance.
