We keep innovating to help you to keep responding to changing business requirements, enhancing user productivity, and staying ahead of the competition.
We want to make sure that you get the most out of your investment in Liquit. Over the past few months, we have released some important, new features; Are you taking advantage of them yet? These are some of the major features you do not want to miss:

Satellite server

The Liquit Satellite Server allows for connectors to operate securely on-premise, while the Liquit Workspace runs from the cloud. Especially useful when you are using for example Citrix Storefront or print servers locally.
Some connectors require specific access to a local resource, which you don’t want to expose to the internet. By utilizing the Liquit Satellite Server you ensure your local resource like a terminal server is not available for the internet. For more information on how to setup your system please refer to the documentation which you can access here:

The security settings allow you to tune the webserver security. The following security options are made available:

  • HTTP Strict Transport Security (HSTS) HSTS policy tells web browsers they should only access the zone using a secure connection. Only when a browser has a valid secure connection, it will honor this request.
  • Content Security Policy (CSP) CSP is an added layer of security that helps to detect and mitigate certain types of attacks, including Cross Site Scripting (XSS) and data injection attacks. Deprecated headers will also be used for maximum compatibility (X-XSS-Protection and X-Frame-Options).
  • Cross-Origin Resource Sharing (CORS) With CORS, you are able to control which websites can access resources on the zone.

With the release of Liquit Workspace 3.4, you can copy actions. An action can be copied to the same action set or another action set that supports that action.
Action sets now support filtering, so there is no need to duplicate filters for actions that should be run when the same conditions are met. New filters have been added, like checking on file size and if an MSI is installed.
The filter for “Primary Context”, has been improved, it’s now called “Context”. You can filter on any effective context, not just the primary context.
The following actions and filters have been added or are modified:

  • Actions:
  • New “Refresh agent” action has been added, allows you to refresh the agent.
  • Added “Wait for completion” option to “Set service state” action.
  • An option for disabling prefetching on content is available on actions.
  • Filters:
  • New “File Size” filter allows you to check an individual file for its size..
  • New “MSI Installed” filter allows you to check if an MSI is already installed by its product code.
  • New “Free Disk Space” filter allows you to check if a certain disk has a minimum size available.

Contexts are an important part of the Liquit workspace. One of the functionalities of those context is to customize the look and feel. With the new release, it’s now also possible to customize the look and feel of the login page. Which is especially useful for zones that are shared by multiple departments or organizations with their own branding.

Microsoft Teams and Microsoft SharePoint WebPart

Microsoft teams and SharePoint are an important collaboration platforms within the Microsoft workplace philosophy, enabling users to communicate, share files and work remotely easily with their colleagues.
The missing part of that daily work are the business applications.
With our integration we will enable these platforms to be the truly center of your organization.
