Onboarding and offboarding of employees

The normal IT process for onboarding and offboarding of employees can be very complicated and time-consuming. In a Liquit scenario all that is required is placing people in the right (Active) directory folders and giving them access to the Liquit portal. After that a new employee can take any type of device to get access to all IT resources. Almost the same process can be followed when an employee leaves; simply remove the person from the directory services and he/she will no longer have access to corporate resources.

The Automation functionality delivers the applications instantly or starts a workflow. This workflow will create a task for the Service desk, application owner or line of business manager. Optionally the responsible manager will get an email notification or task in the Management Console. An approval needs to be given before the application is pushed out.

The Liquit Workspace portal is the single point of delivery for the IT department. If the business or end-users request new functionality or applications, the IT department can easily add it. They simply add the requested resource to the Liquit Catalog. Optionally they can add filter sets to make sure only the right employees get access. The line of business manager or application owner can inform the users when new resources are available.
