Onboarding and offboarding of employees

The normal IT process for onboarding and offboarding of employees can be very complicated and time-consuming. In a Liquit scenario all that is required is placing people in the right (Active) directory folders and giving them access to the Liquit portal. After that a new employee can take any type of device to get access to all IT resources. Almost the same process can be followed when an employee leaves; simply remove the person from the directory services and he/she will no longer have access to corporate resources.

Single point of access

End-users no longer have to search for IT resources. They will now have one single URL where they can find everything they need from IT: Application, Apps, Contacts, URL’s, important files and all other resources that users need to fulfill their jobs. They can access this portal from all their devices, since all major browsers and operating systems are supported. Sophisticated Search functionality in Liquit makes it even easier to find the right resources.

On demand Application delivery

Instead of pre-installing all applications on all end-users’ devices or virtual machines, it is much more efficient and cost effective to install the application on request. With Liquit Workspace the end-user gets the requested application delivered instantly, regardless if it is a Terminal session, local application, web application or virtualized application. The Automation functionality delivers the applications instantly or starts a workflow. This workflow will create a task for the Service desk, application owner or line of business manager. Optionally the responsible manager will get an email notification or task in the Management Console. An approval needs to be given before the application is pushed out.

Fast and universal Application delivery for the IT department

The Liquit Workspace portal is the single point of delivery for the IT department. If the business or end-users request new functionality or applications, the IT department can easily add it. They simply add the requested resource to the Liquit Catalog. Optionally they can add filter sets to make sure only the right employees get access. The line of business manager or application owner can inform the users when new resources are available.

Empower the end-user and deliver a personalized desktop

The end-users will get their personalized set of applications, files and other IT resources based on their role in Active Directory. The end-users will love the consumer style IT experience that they will now get at work. Users can add or remove applications or place them in (favorite) folders.

License cost reduction

In a traditional environment all applications will be pre-installed for a new user. This means that a license is required for all applications. In many cases, applications are never used by the end-user although the IT department has purchased licenses.
In a Liquit environment End-users only need a license for an application, when they actually request the application through the Liquit Catalog. So in the Liquit scenario the company only pays for licenses that are really needed. This can bring huge cost savings.

Support calls/cost reduction

By introducing Liquit to your organization the number of support calls will decrease dramatically. The way of offering IT resources through a self service portal results in employees no longer having to open calls for change requests. A lot of these requests can be done in a self-service manner. Next to that the Automation capabilities and the Setup Store will take care of the installation of applications without interference of the IT administrators.

Turn your SharePoint environment into a true single point of access to all IT resources for end-users. They will love it!

Enrich your SharePoint environment and deliver more value for the user. Did you already aggregate a lot of content for the users through solutions like SharePoint? Great, keep that in place and add the browser based Liquit Workspace. This will give the end-users direct access to all their applications and with the Liquit self-service Catalog they can even request new functionality. The users will now have single sign-on access to all their applications through their SharePoint portal.

The below screenshot shows you how Liquit can seamlessly integrate with SharePoint. All applications can be opened directly from SharePoint. The Liquit Catalog can also be published in SharePoint which will enable end-users to request new functionality in a self-service manor directly from SharePoint. These newly requested Apps and resources can be delivered instantly in SharePoint. Liquit can publish and deliver all application types: Virtualised, Web, Hosted Apps and even legacy (MSI).

Liquit Workspace is not the next App Portal. Liquit has a strong focus on End-user experience, but for the IT departments it’s also a true workspace management solution.
